
Lat year in November 2010 I was approached by Nicola Richardson to ask for my help in decorating Tankersley Manor for Alexander’s Charity Ball to raise money for The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID).
Nicola explained that their lives were turned upside down when one of her twin boys, Alexander aged 17 months tragically passed away in the night and was victim of Cot Death. As a mother of two little ones myself her story brought me to tears, no one can comprehend the sheer devastation of the loss of a child and I could not even bear the thought of the pain Nicola and her family must have gone through. I knew straight away we would help and we have promised Nicola that while ever there is an Alexander’s Ball to attend it will be decorated by us for free. Last year Nicola raised a massive £10,800
